Clean and comfortable beds with curtains, light, and own plug. Delicious breakfast with banana pancakes every morning. Fast WiFi and friendly staff.
Bathrooms could have been cleaner. Lack of lock on shower doors in shared bathroom.

I had a wonderful stay at a hostel in the city center with plenty of restaurants around. the staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and had great amenities like hot showers and big lockers. the location was convenient, with the market and restaurants within walking distance. the hostel even went above and beyond by keeping my forgotten items safe until I returned from my trip to the Gili Islands. the wifi was stable and I had no trouble meeting other travelers. it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! .

I recently stayed at New Ubud Hostel for 5 days and it was fantastic! The beds in the 8-bed dorms were incredibly comfy and there were no bed bugs. The aircon worked efficiently and the location was very convenient. The water pressure in the bathrooms was good, although they could use some repairs. There was also a fridge available where you could store fruits and snacks. The young receptionist, Komang, was an absolute angel and the main reason I extended my stay. The staff were kind and the WiFi was mostly stable. clean rooms and a social atmosphere made for a great stay.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful ancient temple setting. Quiet getaway, close to attractions. Friendly staff. English speaking. Balinese architecture, spacious dorms. Well-located for shops, restaurants. Hot water, good coffee. Big, clean rooms with own bathrooms. Comfy, curtained beds with lights, sockets. Lockers available. 10-minute walk to Monkey Forest. Next door Balinese massage. Awesome staff. Central yet quiet. Safe for solo females.

We had a fantastic stay at New! The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and curtains for privacy. The hostel's central location made it easy to explore Ubud, and the helpful staff even helped us book tours at a great price. Plus, the nearby Balinese massage was a real treat! I initially booked one night at this hostel to test it out, but ended up staying for the entire week! The location is perfect, right in the center of everything, yet secluded enough to provide a peaceful atmosphere. The dorm beds are spacious and each comes with a curtain, light, and plug, giving you a sense of privacy. The bathrooms are clean and the showers have great water pressure. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. And let's not forget the free breakfast - omelette and toast or banana pancake, yum! I am so grateful for their honesty and communication when I forgot my belongings as well. Thank you!
Highly recommend this hotel.

During my xmas vacation at the hostel, I really enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff. the hostel's central location was a major plus, as it allowed easy access to the bustling market and an array of delicious restaurants nearby. I appreciated the basic yet comfortable rooms, which provided a cozy and private space to relax after a long day exploring.
There were a few aspects that could be improved upon. the lack of bathroom privacy in the dorm rooms was a bit inconvenient.

I stayed at this hostel for 5 nights and it was a great experience. The beds were clean and comfortable, and having curtains for privacy was a nice touch. I was lucky to have a 10 bed dorm to myself for 2 nights, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere felt like a homestay. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and tourist information. The wifi, although needing a nightly reset, was mostly stable. it was great value for the money and I would definitely recommend this hostel.
I strongly recommend this hostel.
